Hello everyone! February means back to Florida for my son Justin and I. Three years ago today Justin and I arrived in Florida. After three and a half years in Massachusetts coming back to Florida with my son, my cat, my fish and my sanity was huge for me and my family. Three years later I'm thankful that my son is doing well and that I have the opportunity to contribute to the place we love living in.

February brings three concerts and The Florida Smooth Jazz Cruise, finally! It's not too late to join over 300 smooth jazz fans and Russ, Steve, Jeff and the guys known as The Rippingtons on The Florida Smooth Jazz Cruise! Some cabin categories have sold out but we still have cabins left! If you can't make it to the cruise then join The Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman with Jeff Kashiwa on sax, Wednesday, February 9^th at the Miniaci Performing Arts Center in Ft. Lauderdale or Thursday, February 10^th at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Port Canaveral. The concert at the Radisson also offers a special Valentines dinner at $30 per person prior to the concert. Russ, Steve, Erly and the rest of the Ripps will come by and say hello before rockin' the Radisson's Pavilion.

After rocking on the cruise we rock the roof off Lou's Blues on February 20^th with legendary Blues Hall Of Fame guitarist Johnny Winter and his band. He sold out in 2009 he will sell out before February 20^th so get you tickets now! March brings what I consider the top instrumentalist out there today - trumpeter Chris Botti. The man and his band can not be missed. Whether you like smooth jazz, straight ahead jazz, traditional or contemporary, Chris Botti is a MUST SEE for all jazz and music lovers who appreciate extraordinary instrumental music.
